The Tesla screen protector made of hardened 9h glass protects the display in your Tesla from scratches and damage. The matte protective film also ensures that fewer fingerprints are visible. In addition, the screen reflects less, which means that the interface is more visible even in bright surroundings.
The screen protector has been specially developed for Tesla Model 3 and Y. The edges are rounded, avoiding sharp edges. The screen protector itself consists of 5 layers.
The bottom layer is made of silicone resin to protect the screen as much as possible. A PET and an OCA layer are applied to this, which ensure the flexibility of the material. The fourth layer is the 9H tempered glass that provides protection for the Tesla Model 3 and Y screen. Last but not least, an oleophobic layer is applied on top to reduce fingerprints.
The Tesla screen protector comes with 2 cleaning wipes. One is a cloth soaked in alcohol to remove fingerprints and smudges. With the second, all streaks and residues of the first cloth are sucked up.
Installing the Tesla screen protector is simple:
- Clean the screen with the cloths provided
- Peel off the film and attach the Tesla screen protective film
- Push out air bubbles downwards
We recommend attaching the protective film to the top edge first and pressing it in place. This allows any air bubbles to be pushed down. This makes the bubble-free installation of the Tesla screen protector easier.
